[Taiwanese BL] "基因決定我愛你 DNA Says Love You", Coming Soon 2022!
Another Taiwan BL Series is coming this 2022 entitled "基因決定我愛你 DNA Says Love You". Producer Xin Zhiyu confirmed he will collaborate for the first time with the well-known director Hao Xinxiang for a BL drama.
They started the filming of "DNA Says Love You" last September 2021. Producer Xin Zhiyu said on an interview "As early as half and a year ago, when I started thinking about the script, I thought that one of the important characters was very suitable for Erek Lin [林暉閔] because of his great performance on "Soul and God".
This was Erek Lin very first BL series on a lead role. He also said "I was quiet nervous when I heard the news. The nervousness came from my insecurity whether I could play the role well and I spend a lot of my time watching BL so I can learn a lot from it."
He will be partnerd with Lukas Huang [黃新皓] who play on the series 神之鄉 "The Land of Gods". Same with Erik Lin this also the first time of Lukas Huang to play in a BL drama.
The second couple to look forward in the series are Guo Yuchen [郭宇宸] who first participate in th hit 2020 BL "Because I Love You" and he will be partnered with Lin Weijie [林煒傑] a new rise actor. Lin Weijei was first seen by the producer Xin Zhiyu in an audition.
The OST of the series will produced by Sony Music. Now they having a talk to a Japanese company and a TV network in Thailand who wants to buy the license of the series.
They alrady released a 1-minute teaser on their yotube channel. The series has no official date of released yet. The official streaming platform for international fans is not revealed yet so stay tuned for the coming updates.
